Purchase Information

Pricing:
All puppies are priced at approximately 5-7 weeks when we are able to do our initial evaluation. All puppies sold as pet only and on a Spay/ Neuter Contract. Shipping charges are not included in price.
Pet prices for puppies charting over 4.5 pounds $2,800 to $3,500. Puppies charting under 4.5 pounds start at $4,000. Prices are determined by weight, color, and confirmation.
Non-Refundable Deposit:
When you have chosen your puppy we require a non-refundable deposit of $500. We DO NOT hold puppies without a deposit! When we have puppies for sale we often have many inquires for the same puppy. The non-refundable deposit will be applied to the total purchase price. The deposit must be received within 5 business days of committing to a puppy. After the 5 days without receiving the deposit, puppy will be advertised and sold to next qualified buyer.
We reserve the right to refuse a sale. We also reserve the right to cancel a sale at any time if we no longer feel the sale is in the best interest of our puppies. This is the only case where money will be refunded.
We do not offer refunds of any kind, but if puppy is maturing different than we expect the deposit can be moved to another puppy of same gender prior to 6 weeks.
Balance Due:
Remaining balance must be paid in full when the puppy turns 10 weeks. If you are picking up your puppy other arrangements can be made if you would like to pay in cash. If payment is not received and other arrangements have not been made than the puppy will be placed back up for sale and the non-refundable deposit will be forfeited. Delivery is not included in the purchase price of the puppy.
Wisconsin buyers will need to add 5.5% tax

- Size: We breed more for overall small/tiny size than weight alone. We would rather have short legs, short back. While generally speaking the smaller than puppy the higher the price ( Puppies must be 2 lbs. before leaving for their forever home). There are no guarantees on weight, I am giving my best estimate.
- Color/Gender: Shih Tzu are like jellybeans - all sorts of colors. Some colors are requested more and harder for us to produce like chocolates ( livers), cream and mahogany red. Sometimes we have a higher demand for females so this is a factor to consider. There are no guarantees on color as this breed is known to change colors as they mature. They will almost always lighten when shaved down.
- Confirmation and overall structure: We are striving to breed quality Imperial Shih Tzu with thick double coat, smoochy face, shorter legs and back in a small package.
